Australian Blue Bird Brand Pty Ltd is a local owned business, situated at the farm “Yarrawa”, one of the oldest Cherry growing farms in Australia. The orchard is at on the outskirts of Young, the Cherry Capital of Australia. Young is located 380km west of Sydney, and 160km Northwest of Canberra. It has a long history as a producer of high quality sweet cherries, prunes, stonefruits and wine. This is all due to our elevation, soils and climate of hot dry summers and cold wet winters.
Our farm has focused on growing high quality sweet cherries and plums for the local and international markets. We have developed a strong brand and the ability to supply what the market demands. With 320 acre land and our professional team, each year over 100 tons of premium cherries and plums are produced for our customers.
Australian Blue Bird Brand is a well-recognized brand that is well known throughout the Australian and Asian markets. Our farm has a strong focus on quality, this is achieved by good cool chain management and has a gentle, simple system to pack its fruit. The packing facility is based in Young NSW Australian using proven cherry handling technology ensuring that cherries remain fresh and of consistent quality. On farm Hydro cooling, water separation and forced air-cooling are used to market only the best quality!
